Taxi From Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion Airport

Transfers from Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion and back, 24 hours a day. A short drive, a fixed price and no meter

Tel Aviv is the shortest run to the airport among the major cities, which is exactly why people leave too late. The proximity is deceptive: when Highway 1 eastbound backs up, twenty minutes become forty, and whoever left at the last moment finds out at precisely the wrong time.

The route and the roads

Most rides use the Ayalon and then Highway 1 eastbound. The real congestion is eastbound in the morning and westbound in the afternoon - that is, on the way back from the airport. From the north of the city it is sometimes better to take Highway 5 and join Highway 4, and from the south the approach via Highway 44 can save time.

Pickup areas

We collect from across the city - the old and new north, the centre, Neve Tzedek, Florentin, Jaffa, Ramat Aviv and Bavli. In buildings with underground parking or on streets with tight blue-and-white bays it helps to agree a stopping point, since double parking at a busy hour is not always possible.

Our tip

For flights departing between 06:00 and 09:00, plan the drive as forty minutes rather than twenty. That is the difference between arriving calm and running for the gate.
