The route and the roads
The direct route is Highway 4 southbound and then east to the airport, the shortest in kilometres. In the morning, when Highway 4 southbound is standing towards Gush Dan, going out on Highway 531 east to Highway 6 and then south is usually quicker in practice, even though it looks like a detour. The driver chooses from the traffic at the moment of departure rather than from what the map says.
